About Us
Traditional Values, Modern Edge: A Legacy in the Making!
Founder Bruce Cottrill, who has been in the manufacturing industry for 35 years, built Bib'n Brace on traditional values he learnt while working with his father who is a Danish Cabinet Maker. Now it is Bruce's turn to educate the next generation on traditional values, and keeping the craft alive!
Sustainablity
Bib'n Brace was founded with the ambition of eliminating the amount of useable hardwood going to landfill each year. We believe that everyone should take responsibility for the impact that they have on the environment, and our aim is to become a leader in sustainable production and practices. We are continuously looking for new ways to reduce our environmental impact, and to contribute to the global effort to protect the planet.
Our main source of timber is from demolition yards, or through the client themselves. We also try and recycled as much as possible for our cores, and often use recycled polysturene from old industrial fridges to help keep the weight down, and redcude polystyrene waste.
Currently we are also working with the Central Coast Sustainability Association and Pheniox Packaging to come up with alternitive waste streams for timber (MDF) and genenticly create packing solutions to replace polystyrene.
Quality
We understand that quality is essential. That's why we measure it based on three factors - price, material and life span. We know that many of our competitors tend to focus on quantity rather than quality, which often leads to a lack of personalization and durability. That's why we strive to provide you with a door that is exactly what you want; from the size and design to the finishing touches. We are committed to providing you with a product that is built to last, even with constant family use.
